May 10, 2020: Mother’s Day.
I like to celebrate my parents… we’ve always had this tradition in the family…
and then as one of my favorite books says: “Take every opportunity to remind your loved ones that you love them…
“… so… May 10th!!!! Let’s celebrate all the super moms!!!!
On YouTube I saw a Ready for DIY tutorial about this beautiful bike… and I thought… to try to replicate it using paper and our materials.
First, with the #7 circle of the *Dashing Circles*, the 6.7cm one, I punched the 1mm vegetable cardboard.
I wanted the wheel to be a little thick and I made some: six for each wheel.
Then, again with the No. 7 of Dashing Circles, I prepared six punched with the double face in the color *Pastel Taupe*.
With circle No. 9, the 3.2cm one, I made two: these smaller punches are for the front wheel.
I made the bicycle’s frame with the vegetable cardboard and the double face paper in the color *Pastel Yellow* .
To do this, you need four 1cm wide strips x 7.5cm high (the outer frame) and a 1cm x 6.5cm strip that goes under daisies’ basket.
The basket of daisies is always made with the No. 7 Dashing Circles and a piece of the double face in the Pastel Yellow, that measures 7.5cm high x 20 wide.
I folded , on the short side, at 2 cm.
I cut the 2cm creasing by creating tongues, so I can attach it to the round bracket.
It was easy to compose my flower bouquet with the *Daisy* die, the *Branch 9* die and the twings in the *Dream Flower*set dies.
The twigs are attached to the daisies with a glue point, while the daisies are supported by wire.
For sentiments, I used the *TVB* stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed the project and I hug all the moms!!!!
